Thom Browne is expanding his repertoire come fall 2014. The designer is centering his newest collection around the classic grey suit. The line will comprise suits, shirts, coats and neckwear–its a thing–and it’ll step away from the cropped cut that has become synonymous with Browne.
While older collections were marketed under Thom Browne New York, this collection will nix the NY, in a strategy that Browne hopes will attract more men that appreciate his aesthetic but aren’t up to the task of going bare ankle.
Regarding the line, Browne said it will be “an homage to the world of tailored clothing and the stores that do tailored clothing really well.”
