I’ve never really listened to Jay-Z, and in the event that the rumours pan out re: his collaborative collection with Barneys, I probably won’t wear him, either. But, it’s apparently going to include fairly low-key designers: Lanvin, Balenciaga, Balmain, Proenza Schouler, Rick Owens, people like that. I guess like everything else he does it’ll be a huge success. The price point is somewhat varied with the cheapest allegedly hovering around 50 bucks, all the way to 34, 000, so. It’s set to hit Barneys November 20 and stay available until January 2, with a quarter of the proceeds are going to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
